Alabama Prepares for Tennessee Without Top Receiver

The Alabama Crimson Tide aim to recover from a tight loss against the Georgia Bulldogs in Week 6 as they set to face the Tennessee Volunteers. However, the team will not have their full offensive lineup for Saturday’s game.

Junior wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams has been a key player for Alabama this season, with consistent performances in each game. Before the Georgia matchup, he had scored in three consecutive games. Unfortunately, during the Week 6 game against Georgia, Coleman-Williams suffered a knee injury and a concussion, forcing him to leave the game early.

Leading up to the Week 7 game, hopes for Coleman-Williams’s participation were low. This expectation was confirmed on Wednesday when Alabama released their weekly injury report, supported by Pete Nakos of On3 Sports.

Coleman-Williams tops the team charts in receptions, tying with Lotzeir Brooks, and leads in receiving yards and touchdowns. His absence will be significant.

The Tennessee Volunteers present a tough challenge for Alabama. They hold opponents to an average of 161.3 passing yards per game, the second-lowest in the SEC. This game could pose difficulties for Alabama’s quarterback, Keelon Russell.

The Alabama-Tennessee game will start at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
