A buffalo with a unique hairstyle is attracting attention for its resemblance to former President Donald Trump. This albino buffalo, named ‘Donald Trump,’ has become popular at Bangladesh’s national zoo due to its blond hair tuft, which many believe looks like the president’s signature hairstyle.
The buffalo first caught public attention when a local farmer noticed its striking resemblance to Trump. A video of the pale buffalo, complete with horns, quickly circulated on social media and drew many visitors to a farm near Dhaka, where it was initially kept.

Originally, the buffalo was sold for the Eid al-Adha festival, a time when animals are traditionally sacrificed. However, government officials intervened, relocating the animal to the national zoo in Dhaka. Since then, the buffalo has drawn large crowds and sparked discussions regarding its nickname.
Some visitors found the comparison appealing. Mohammed Nasim, a student in Dhaka, told the Associated Press, ‘There is a resemblance to Donald Trump in its eyes, hairstyle, and skin color. Like Trump, this buffalo is now enjoying attention and special treatment.’
Local media reported that the zoo initially displayed a sign calling the buffalo ‘Donald Trump,’ although the sign was later removed. The zoo’s curator was reassigned, although officials did not provide a reason for this decision.
Visitors continue to gather at the enclosure, capturing photos and videos of the creature. Not everyone, however, supports the nickname. Mohammad Joynal Adedin, a local resident, expressed disapproval, stating, ‘Naming a farm animal after such an influential leader was inappropriate.’ Despite his objection, he visited the zoo to see the buffalo. Adedin added, ‘It seems disrespectful. The farmer’s decision was poor.’
