Camp Saginaw Alumni Cherish Lifelong Bonds

For several years, a group of 20 Camp Saginaw alumni have come together to share memories and experiences. On June 13, 2026, they continue their tradition, bonding over past events that shaped their lives.

The bunk mates from the summer of 1966 include Brian Redman and Rick Elion. They are part of the former campers who maintain relationships long after their camping days.

During those memorable summers, time seemed elusive, marked vaguely by events such as Color War, campfires, and morning revelry. The campers cherished moments that seemed to last forever, like winning a track competition or experiencing a first kiss. Yet, those eight weeks of summer went by in a fleeting, warm mist.
