Their inability to maintain drives or protect the quarterback led to Stefanski’s exit after six years.

Offseason Moves
The Browns traded star defender Myles Garrett to the Rams, receiving Jared Verse and draft capital. This move benefits Cleveland by providing a fresh start and a promising pass rusher. General Manager stated that such opportunities are rare, necessitating the decision.
In free agency, the Browns signed guard Zion Johnson, center Elgton Jenkins, linebacker Quincy Williams, and defensive tackle Kalia Davis, among others. They drafted impactful players like receiver Isaiah Bond and running backs Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson. Additional veteran depth came with pass rusher A.J. Epenesa and receiver Tylan Wallace joining the team.
