Jackie, the beloved bald eagle, is critically ill and in an unstable condition as of 2024. Her fans know her not just as a magnificent bird, but as a reality star and a devoted mother. Her life in Big Bear, including her meticulous care in arranging her nest, has been shared with the world through a popular livestream.

Currently, Jackie is receiving care at the Ojai Raptor Center after being rescued from Big Bear Lake in mid-July. Despite numerous tests, the cause of her illness remains unknown.
