Stella’s Facebook post highlighted, “What the world saw is exactly who she was, so much so, she told me recently that if there was no hope for her, she would still allow her medical team to try experimental drugs in the hope of helping others in the future.”
Dolly Parton was renowned for her philanthropy. She founded the Dollywood Foundation in 1988 to support education in her hometown. This effort expanded to include funding higher education costs for Dollywood employees. The Imagination Library, another initiative, offers free books to children, promoting literacy.
