Preparations are underway for a highly anticipated event at Madison Square Garden, involving renowned figures Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. While full details are sparse, the occasion is speculated to be their wedding and is expected to span several days.
The event promises grandiosity, featuring lavish elements such as florals, exquisite cuisine, elaborate decor, and a distinguished guest list. The dress code will be formal black tie, as shared by sources close to the event, though they spoke anonymously. This means women will mostly don gowns, while men will wear tuxedos with black bow ties and satin-striped trousers.
Andy Reid, the Kansas City Chiefs coach, was seen being fitted for a tuxedo at Peters Clothiers in Kansas City, hinting at his attendance. Reid has mentioned in the past that he might have received an invitation to the event.
The festivities include two distinct occasions. An intimate rehearsal dinner will take place for roughly 100 guests on Thursday evening in the Infosys Theater. A larger gathering for about 1,000 people will commence with a cocktail hour on Friday. Both events will enforce a strict no-phone policy for attendees and staff.
Hints of the preparation are visible outside Madison Square Garden. Massive items, possibly part of the decor, have been unloaded from trucks. Some of these items appear to be trees, as marked on wooden boxes previously sighted. A forklift operator, donning a ‘Taylor Swift CARPENTERS’ T-shirt, declined to comment when queried about his role.
