Father Claims Obstruction by D.C. School in Investigation

In Washington, D.C., Duvel Brown has alleged that staff at his son’s elementary school hindered his family’s participation in an internal investigation. This claim concerns an incident involving his young son.

On August 11, Duvel Brown, along with Lakeia Miller, expressed frustration regarding how the school managed the situation involving their son, Kuvel Brown.

Lakeia Miller recounted an incident two years prior. At the time, she worked at a Dollar General. She received a call from the school principal. The principal informed her that a teacher had struck her 6-year-old son across the face. Additionally, the principal assured her that they were addressing the matter.

This assurance did not satisfy Miller. The family is now focused on understanding the truth behind the school’s handling of the situation and the alleged obstruction.
