Stephen Biebelhausen, a 30-year-old father, participated in the Guardian Mile race in Cleveland over the weekend. Running with his one-year-old daughter Blake in a stroller, he completed the race in 4 minutes and 17.7 seconds. This time is nearly 9 seconds faster than the current Guinness World Record for the fastest mile while pushing a stroller. However, the record still awaits official certification.
Biebelhausen’s performance not only drew attention due to the impressive timing but also highlighted a unique father-daughter bonding moment. His daughter, Blake, was seen kicking her legs enthusiastically during the race. According to Biebelhausen, she often expresses her delight when he runs with her, which adds a personal joy to their running activities.
