Police are searching for Alyssa Smith, a 24-year-old woman from Illinois who has been missing since September 30. Her disappearance followed a visit to Chicago with her boyfriend, after which she did not return home. This information was confirmed by her mother to Fox News Digital.
The Palatine Police Department continues to investigate her case. Alyssa’s mother has been actively sharing information on social media, hoping for her daughter’s safe return.
According to Rebecca Smith, Alyssa’s boyfriend, Jacob Ray Caso, came back from Chicago alone, without Alyssa. He has shared a missing persons poster on social media, urging her to come home. The police have not accused him of any wrongdoing.
Someone may have seen Alyssa on October 3 in the Grant Park area or near Cicero Avenue and Roosevelt Road, according to police reports.
The Palatine Police are working to verify these sightings and collect more information. Alyssa works at a Chipotle, per her social media.
Alyssa Smith is described as a White female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing between 135 and 140 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes, several body piercings, and notable tattoos, including a “Pennywise” clown on her left shoulder.
At the time she was last seen, she wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, light khaki pants or sweatpants, and white Adidas sneakers.
If anyone encounters Alyssa or knows of her location, they should immediately contact local law enforcement or dial 911.
