Influencer ‘Clavicular’ Faces Serious Charges in Massachusetts

Braden Peters, an influencer known online as “Clavicular,” faces criminal charges in Massachusetts related to alleged sexual misconduct. He is accused of getting a 17-year-old woman intoxicated and engaging in sexual activities without her consent. The charges include rape, drugging for sexual involvement, and an alcohol-related misdemeanor.

The allegations date back to May 23, 2025, at Peters’ family home in Chatham on Cape Cod. According to court records, the woman met Peters via Instagram and visited his home to create “looksmaxxing” content, a trend aimed at enhancing physical attractiveness. Peters allegedly arranged transportation for her and livestreamed the evening on Twitch.

The teenager claims Peters knew of her age but instructed her to lie about it and refer to alcohol as “water” on the stream. Clips from the Twitch account reportedly show the teenager expressing her drunken state before engaging in a kiss with Peters. She later reported waking up to a non-consensual sexual encounter.

On September 4, a judge found probable cause for the charges, issuing a criminal complaint on September 8 in Orleans District Court. Peters is expected to be arraigned on October 14.

Mitchell Jackson, representing Peters, refuted the allegations, highlighting that the woman initially filed a lawsuit without including sexual assault, only amending it later. Peters dismissed the lawsuit, citing supportive evidence from letters and texts, and alleged that the woman’s attorney approached the police after Peters refused a financial settlement.

The police report indicates the woman contacted Chatham police with her attorney over a year later, explaining her initial silence stemmed from embarrassment and reluctance to inform her grandparents. Uber records corroborated Peters’ involvement on the night of the incident. Attempts by police to reach Peters by phone were unsuccessful.

Braden Peters also faced legal issues earlier this year in Florida, including a misdemeanor for firing a gun at a dead alligator during a livestream and a separate arrest for battery related to a conflict he allegedly instigated at an Airbnb. His attorney stated that Peters followed a licensed guide’s directions during the alligator incident and stressed no harm to people or animals occurred.
