For many years, I avoided using my porch during summer due to the constant presence of mosquitoes. However, I’ve recently discovered an interesting approach to control these pests.
This method has significantly reduced mosquito populations on several islands in the Philippines and the Maldives. The technique has even seen success in a town in Maryland, close to Washington, D.C.
In Washington, D.C., mosquitoes are a common summer nuisance. Yet, the possibility of applying this new solution here sparked my interest.
