Investigation into Philadelphia ‘House of Horrors’ Uncovers Disturbing Evidence

Police have conducted another search at a residence in Philadelphia’s Olney neighborhood. They collected various items, including glass vials, a vacuum cleaner, and workout equipment. This action follows the discovery of over a million pieces of digital evidence at the location.

The house once belonged to Raymond “RC” Horsch, a pornographer who passed away at 82. Reports have labeled the property a “house of horrors.” Investigations link the site to seven missing women, sparking further concern.

Evidence bags, seen in photos, mentioned items such as glass vials and a board. Investigators also removed a rowing machine and vacuum cleaner, among other packages. The investigation is ongoing, with updates to be released as relevant, according to a Philadelphia police spokesperson.

Eugene Horsch, the son of RC Horsch, was arrested in June on charges related to drugs, firearms, and forgery. During a home search, police allegedly found “snuff” videos involving the missing women, alongside disturbing evidence like chemical drums connected to the water system and five urns potentially containing human ashes.

Maribel Fresses, last seen in 2018, has been identified among the missing women, as has Gabrielle Aramando. Another individual, Blair Tonzelli, disappeared in February 2023, with an ID found in possession of a woman accompanying Eugene at his arrest. Local reports also identify Amy McHale and Nicole “Nikki” Fusaro among the missing. McHale was seen last in 2016, while Fusaro vanished in 2019.

Authorities have identified numerous other individuals through images found. Eugene has not been charged concerning the missing women. His unrelated arrest occurred at Independence Mall, where the accompanying woman had the ID of one missing woman.

Dr. Kris Mohandie, a forensic psychologist, speculated that the elder Horsch might have been part of a network producing and distributing “snuff films.” The elder Horsch’s involvement in the pornographic industry suggests potential profit motives in these activities, aside from sadistic intent.

Raymond Horsch had a history as a methamphetamine producer and authored books containing violent and explicit content, including one describing the disposal of a body using boiling chemicals.
