A senior Trump administration official recently indicated that a deal with Iran is nearing completion, with hopes for a signing in the coming days. Despite not being finalized, the official estimates the agreement is 75% complete.
“While this is tentative, we feel confident that we will be signing this in the next few days,” stated the official.
The proposed U.S. agreement aims to dismantle Tehran’s nuclear program, destroy and remove nuclear material, open the Strait of Hormuz, and restrict Iranian funding for terrorist groups. Furthermore, Iran’s funds will not be released until compliance with these terms is verified.
President Trump, however, disputed the reported details, asserting that the terms leaked by Iran to the media are false compared to the actual written agreement. He expressed this sentiment in a Truth Social post.
