Jezebel Restores Articles After Concerns Over Deletion

Jezebel, a well-known women-focused website, faced criticism from former staff members for removing numerous articles. These articles, often with provocative headlines, were a significant part of its content.

William Sagan, the publisher of Paste Magazine, which acquired Jezebel in 2023, addressed the situation. In a series of emails on Wednesday, Sagan clarified that the articles were unpublished temporarily. The reason given was to address grammar and technical issues.

The Washington Post reported that more than 100 articles were subsequently restored on Jezebel’s website. This action came following concerns about the removal of these articles, which are an integral part of the site’s identity and historical content.
