However, a new resolution from the school board bans all screen time for 1st graders and younger from this week. Starting November, similar limits will extend to elementary, middle, and high school students.

As LAUSD navigates this new ground, the aim is to balance reducing screen exposure while ensuring students engage in meaningful activities. The district continues to explore effective solutions as the school year progresses.
