Transitioning from betting on baseball and soccer to basketball may be a smart move. Baseball results have not been promising lately, and learning soccer comes with its challenges. Shifting focus to basketball, whether it’s the NBA, WNBA, or college games, could be rewarding.
Tonight’s game between the Minnesota Lynx and Dallas Wings offers an exciting opportunity. The Lynx are impressively 14-4, despite missing their star player, Napheesa Collier. Collier, an MVP-level player, is sidelined with an ankle injury since 2025 and hasn’t resumed playing. Her absence might extend to the entire season.

The focus isn’t solely on Collier. Olivia Miles has emerged as a key player, showcasing her potential to become Rookie of the Year. Drafted second overall, Miles is averaging 18.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 5.6 assists. The Lynx’s depth, with several talented players, contributes significantly to their continued success. If Collier returns, they might become title frontrunners.

The Dallas Wings hold a strong position at 11-7 this season. Possessing the No. 1 overall pick in two consecutive WNBA Drafts, they chose Paige Bueckers last year, who excelled as Rookie of the Year. This year’s top pick, Azzi Fudd, is proving herself as a valuable addition, though she is still perfecting her shot creation. Bueckers is adept at creating opportunities for her teammates, especially Fudd.

However, Dallas struggles defensively, allowing nearly 86 points per game. Recent games show inconsistent defensive performances, with points allowed ranging from 66 to 110. The Lynx, known for their strong defense, might exploit these weaknesses, having already scored 90 and 100 points in previous encounters with the Wings this season.
While betting on the over might be tempting, considering the defense, the Lynx’s team total looks promising. They are efficient scorers and, even with a competitive game, Dallas might struggle against Minnesota’s offensive prowess.
