Adam Schwarze, a Navy veteran and GOP Senate candidate, claims to have uncovered evidence of voter fraud in Minnesota. Schwarze says records show he voted in the 2012 presidential election despite being in California for Navy training at that time. He described it as ‘physically impossible’ to have voted in person since he was attending BUD/S training in the California mountains, nearly 2,000 miles away.
Schwarze explained the situation: ‘All the instructors, the morning after the election, questioned who hadn’t done absentee voting. We were beaten in training for not having voted absentee because all the SEAL candidates were present at the training.’
Despite his absence in 2012, Minnesota state records indicate Schwarze voted in person. The records don’t specify who he supposedly voted for. This finding has raised concerns about possible voter fraud, particularly in a state that doesn’t require ID to vote.
The issue came to light as Schwarze launched his Senate campaign. A reporter fact-checked his voting history, revealing that records showed he voted in 2012. Furthermore, his voter registration became active after the 2009 Minneapolis mayoral election, where ranked-choice voting debuted.
Fox News Digital requested clarification from Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon. A spokesperson stated, ‘Minnesota’s election system follows comprehensive state and federal laws to ensure honesty, security, and accuracy.’ The spokesperson also highlighted that Minnesota consistently ranks high in voter turnout and encouraged visits to the state’s election security webpage for details.
Despite these assurances, Schwarze argues that voter integrity issues have persisted for decades. He noted that his training orders align with his claim of being out of state during the election period. Schwarze completed his SEAL training from June to December 2012, reinforcing his assertion of absence during the presidential election.
Concerns about fraud extend beyond elections for Schwarze. Minnesota recently faced a significant Medicaid fraud scandal, involving billions in potential losses. Schwarze sees a connection between financial and electoral fraud, describing both as part of a larger problem requiring thorough investigation.
Since discovering his mysterious voter record, Schwarze has sought more information from state officials without success. He urges for transparency, advocating for same-day, in-person voting with ID and paper ballots to ensure election integrity.
Schwarze, emphasizing his commitment to democracy, stated, ‘I’ve fought for democracy worldwide. Free, fair, and transparent elections are foundational to democracy, and we lack these principles now in the U.S.’
