A golfer in Ohio feels fortunate after a close call with lightning during a storm on a golf course. While filming his friends attempting to move a stuck golf cart, he was struck by lightning.
The video begins with the golfer laughing as his three friends struggle in the rain to push a golf cart up a small hill. Their efforts fail, with the cart rolling backwards before a sudden lightning strike changes everything.

In the video, the golfer makes critical mistakes that serve as learning points. He remains on the course as the storm approaches and stands under a tree holding an umbrella.
The recording ends abruptly with a loud bang and flash of light. Meteorologist Matt Devitt later noted that the golfer was hit on the arm by lightning but escaped with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident occurred in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the golfer described his survival as incredibly lucky. Devitt emphasized the importance of safety during storms.
“Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!” Devitt advised.
This experience serves as a reminder to seek shelter promptly, avoid trees and umbrellas during storms, and assist when a golf cart gets stuck.
