New Jersey Mom’s Murder Case

The investigation continues into the murder of New Jersey mom, Brooke Hanlon, found stabbed in her Chester home. Despite the passage of more than a month, there have been no arrests. Authorities have not disclosed key details, such as the 911 call and the level of cooperation from her husband, James Connor Hanlon. Neighbors remain confused by the unsolved case.

California Mother Found Dead

A separate murder case involves the arrest of Safford Wolfson, a 36-year-old California man, charged in connection with his mother’s death. Angela Caprioli, 61, was found dead earlier this week in Laguna Beach. Wolfson, identified as a person of interest, was arrested on suspicion of murder.

Events Leading to the Arrest

According to reports, police were called to a home on Dunning Drive shortly after 11 a.m. for a death investigation involving Caprioli. The case is still being examined. Neighbor Dustin Pettit mentioned witnessing a tense argument between Wolfson and Caprioli a few days before the incident.

“I saw her outside talking with him and it seemed like a pretty hostile conversation,” Pettit shared with The California Post. “She turned around and went inside, fed up with whatever was going on.”

Pettit further noted to CBS Los Angeles that Wolfson moved into the residence about six months ago, kept to himself, and did not engage with neighbors. He described Wolfson as mysterious, often seen smoking and playing guitar.

Further investigation by the New York Post found social media profiles linked to Wolfson, identifying him as transgender. A post from 2024 highlights personal issues, stating: “Not even my mom wants to hang out with me man… talk about lame-o!”
