Recently, the Sept. 26 news article titled “Scientists seek clues as dementia patients near death get lucid” included a nod to my work. The article highlighted research I co-authored in 2019. The focus was on the potential for behavioral recovery in dementia patients, even when brain changes appear irreversible.
This research emerged from a workshop at the National Institutes of Health. Acknowledgment is due to Basil Eldadah, affiliated with the National Institute on Aging at that time, for supporting the initiative.
The dialogue extends beyond dementia. Other topics gaining traction among readers include ant warfare and college affordability. These subjects highlight diverse areas of interest and concern within the community.
