Reflecting Pool Cleanup Efforts
Workers have been diligently cleaning the Reflecting Pool near the Lincoln Memorial, addressing an algae problem following a renovation costing more than $14 million. This effort comes after President Donald Trump’s recent remarks that the project was conducted properly and could last a century.

On Thursday, a noticeable instance involved an “American Flag Blue” paint sheet seen floating as the cleaning continued. The paint, part of the renovation process, is chipping off, adding to the challenges faced by the maintenance team.
