Kamala Harris narrowly lost the state by one percentage point, while Tammy Baldwin, the Democratic Senate candidate, secured a victory.
The DNC Chair Race
Wikler sought the position of chair of the Democratic National Committee but was defeated by Ken Martin. Many Democrats, recognizing the DNC’s struggles with fund-raising and cohesion since that time, felt a desire for Wikler’s leadership.
