Travis Kelce recently shared his thoughts on his wedding to Taylor Swift, an event many dubbed America’s Royal Wedding. During a news conference at the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp practice, Kelce spoke about the wedding attended by family and friends.
Over a month after their ceremony, which included about 1,100 guests, Kelce expressed his gratitude. He stated, “It was a fun off-season… The wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.” Guests signed non-disclosure agreements to maintain the event’s privacy.
Details have slowly emerged since the wedding. Kylie Kelce, Travis’s sister-in-law, mentioned how the wedding moved Jason Kelce to tears, more so than his own wedding.
The wedding took place at Madison Square Garden in New York, a venue known for iconic sports and music events. Kelce reflected on the significance of using this space. He mentioned Taylor Swift attending the Knicks Finals at MSG, a game he missed due to training commitments. He shared, “I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking, and my wife went when I was stuck in mini camp.”
Kelce cherished fulfilling his dream of being in Madison Square Garden, describing it as the “mecca of all sports venues.” He thanked the venue’s staff for their support, highlighting the excellent air conditioning as a memorable aspect.
Looking ahead, Kelce, having just celebrated a 2026 Super Bowl victory, is focused on the upcoming NFL season. “It was a crazy night,” he remarked of the wedding, “but it’s football, baby.”
