President Donald Trump announced a new $8 billion aid package designed to assist farmers facing economic challenges. This announcement was made during a rally held in Park City, Kansas.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture will distribute these funds to farmers who have suffered financial losses. The payments aim to compensate for increased diesel costs during the current harvest season. This move comes as Republicans attempt to secure their position in traditionally agricultural states ahead of the upcoming midterm elections.
