Waka’s Political Views
During the interview, Waka Flocka addressed the backlash artists face for publicly expressing conservative views. This conversation included mention of Nicki Minaj, who has experienced criticism for her association with President Trump.
Lahren noted, “You think the way they turned on Nicki Minaj? She supports the president.” According to Lahren, Nicki’s support partly stems from her concern about the treatment of Christians in Nigeria.
Support for Donald Trump
When asked about his political stance, Waka Flocka expressed a preference for Trump over Kamala Harris, likening it to choosing Kobe Bryant over LeBron James in basketball. He stated, “I support him over Kamala Harris 100 percent. Why is that? Because of her.” Waka’s choice is based on his view that Trump provides better leadership.
Despite this, Waka clarified that supporting Trump does not mean he aligns with all of Trump’s policies. “When people use the word support, that means you stand for everything someone stands for, and that ain’t what it is,” he explained.
Waka also disclosed that he has never voted, citing a belief that voting does not impact communities like his, referred to as “the hood” or “the trenches.” He did, however, acknowledge learning valuable lessons about capital delegation and business structuring from Trump.
Personal Life and Upcoming Fatherhood
Apart from politics, Waka Flocka is preparing for significant changes in his personal life. He is about to welcome his first biological son, embracing the responsibilities of fatherhood.
“Another human is gonna be in the house, and I got a strong responsibility,” Waka said, expressing his readiness for this new chapter. Despite the coming challenges, he takes it one day at a time, recognizing the importance of personal growth.
