WWE star Charlotte Flair has commended Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton for his generous contribution to a GoFundMe campaign benefiting a family close to her. Flair discussed Haliburton’s gesture during Sports Illustrated Beyond the Pitch event in New York City, highlighting his donation of $10,000 to the family of 8-year-old Scarlett Guillen, who recently passed away due to Diffuse Midline Glioma, a rare and incurable brain cancer.
Flair expressed gratitude to Haliburton for his support, stating, “It really helped cover her funeral costs.” She further remarked on the significance of his action, noting, “You have no idea how much that meant to me, to the family. Just, what a great guy.” Scarlett was known as Flair’s biggest fan, and their bond was featured in a segment prior to WrestleMania 42.
In memory of Scarlett, Flair donned butterfly-themed ring gear during WrestleMania 42. Following her death, Flair posted on her X account, praising Scarlett’s influence on her life.
“Thank you for the light you brought into my life,” Flair shared. “You reminded all of us that a life isn’t measured by its length, but by the love it leaves behind. Your light doesn’t end here. It lives on in your family, your friends, and in every heart you touched.” She continued with an emotional tribute, emphasizing the lasting impact of Scarlett’s presence.
Flair’s heartfelt message encapsulated the profound connection they shared, calling Scarlett “our butterfly” and “our diamond girl.” The tribute highlighted Scarlett’s enduring legacy, affirming she will be “loved beyond words” and never forgotten.
