Woman Dies in Hit-and-Run Collision in Chicago

A woman, aged 64, lost her life in a hit-and-run incident in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago early Sunday morning. Police provided details about the tragic event, stating that the woman was a passenger in a dark-colored SUV heading north on South Stony Island Avenue.

At approximately 2:42 a.m., a dark-colored sedan collided with the SUV. The driver of the sedan then abandoned the car and fled the scene on foot. The woman was pronounced dead at the crash site.

According to police, there were no other reported injuries from this collision, and no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
