The New York Knicks secured a resounding victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, winning 130-93 to complete a dominant sweep and secure their place in the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999. The game unfolded with the Knicks taking control from the start, establishing a significant lead that they maintained throughout.
From the three-point line, New York showed impressive accuracy, hitting 19 out of 43 attempts. They also dominated in rebounding, contributing to their decisive win.

The Cavaliers, who many considered a well-rounded team, faced a surprising fall as the series progressed.
Knicks’ Performance and Cavalier’s Struggle
With over eight minutes on the clock in the last quarter of Game 4, Cavaliers coach Kenny Atkinson pulled his key players, signaling their concession of the series as the Knicks celebrated their assured victory.

Despite Donovan Mitchell scoring 31 points, Cleveland could not match the Knicks’ defensive prowess, which restricted the Cavaliers’ perimeter offense significantly in all four games.
Validation for the Knicks
This win marks New York’s sixth consecutive playoff victory away from home. It also validates the Knicks’ decision to part ways with former coach Tom Thibodeau, bringing in Mike Brown who has helped the team to perform exceptionally, maintaining an undefeated streak into the Finals.
Looking ahead, the Knicks will compete against either the Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs, with the NBA Finals starting on June 3.
