Heidi Klum Rejects Hollywood’s Beauty Trends

Heidi Klum is challenging one of Hollywood’s enduring beauty obsessions. Amid persistent inquiries about celebrities’ use of weight loss drugs like Ozempic and GLP-1, Klum is firmly opposed to this trend.

The supermodel attributes this change in perspective to her husband, Tom Kaulitz, who has influenced how she views her body after many years of pressure to maintain a slim figure.

Klum stated, “I’m not interested at all,” when asked about weight-loss drugs in an Us Weekly interview.

At 53, she acknowledges gaining weight but believes this complements her better than the thin appearance the modeling industry has long favored.

According to Klum, the shift in her viewpoint originated from Kaulitz’s insistence that she needed to eat more for a healthier appearance. This contradicted the industry norm, where models are often pressured to remain extremely slim.

“My husband… suggested I would look better with more meat on my bones,” Klum confessed. “I was shocked. It’s a rarity to hear such advice in my line of work.”

Reflecting on past photos, Klum agrees her husband was indeed correct, realizing she looks more proportionate with additional weight.

Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz married secretly in February 2019, later celebrating aboard a luxurious yacht near Capri, Italy.

While Klum is uninterested in trying Ozempic, she does not judge those who decide to take it. She believes people should make their own choices, suggesting that for some, these drugs could provide necessary help.

“Everyone should do what works for them,” Klum said. “If you’ve struggled with your weight for decades, and feel trapped by it, maybe you should give it a try.”

On cosmetic procedures, Klum argues confidence matters more than achieving physical perfection. She believes true allure stems from self-assurance and understanding one’s intrinsic value.

Klum remarked, “Self-awareness exudes sexiness… It’s less about chasing aesthetic ideals and more about embracing your true self.”
