The feud began when Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champion, dismissed Paul’s athletic merits due to his involvement in WWE rather than football. Brady had originally made the comments during Super Bowl week, sparking ongoing tensions.
Brady expressed interest in participating in professional wrestling during an interview on Cody Rhodes’ podcast. He mentioned waiting for WWE president Nick Khan to create a storyline for his potential involvement.
