Sherrone Moore, previously the head coach for the Michigan Wolverines, is facing significant changes in his life following a scandal. Fired after an affair with an executive assistant, Moore and his wife, Kelli Moore, are considering leaving Ann Arbor.
Their Ann Arbor residence is up for sale at $1.7 million according to Realtor.com, located roughly 15 minutes from the university. Originally bought for $1.3 million earlier in 2023, the property includes five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms over half an acre.

Moore was a part of Jim Harbaugh’s staff, serving as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach, before stepping in as acting head coach during Harbaugh’s suspension. Moore was later promoted to head coach, following Harbaugh’s move to the Los Angeles Chargers after a championship victory.
In legal matters, Moore was sentenced to 18 months probation, having pled no contest to two misdemeanors. This followed events post-firing, where Moore allegedly forced entry into the residence of his affair partner and threatened self-harm.
Kelli Moore supported her husband in court, also writing a plea for leniency to the presiding judge. Judge Cedric Simpson remarked on the irony of Moore’s wife saving him from harsher penalties when addressing the case.
The Moores are uncertain about their next move once the house sells, yet recovery from the scandal is a priority. The likelihood of Moore returning to a coaching role remains in doubt, despite his skills.
As part of legal resolutions, Moore must pay over $1,000 in fines, engage in mental health treatment, and forego alcohol, marijuana, weapons, and contact with the affair partner.
During his time as head coach, Moore held a record of 16-8, missing games due to suspension related to a sign-stealing probe.
