A group from a church gathers monthly for dinner. During a recent outing, one diner was seated next to a woman he knew casually. The following day, the woman reported to the event organizer that she had to visit the emergency room.
She claimed a reaction occurred because of his order. She is allergic to fish, but he was unaware of this allergy. Despite not ordering fish himself, a misunderstanding arose linking his meal choice to her allergic reaction.
