On January 14, 2026, Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-Wyo.) participated in a House Select Subcommittee probing the investigation into the DNC and RNC pipe bombs. This occurs as Wyoming voters prepare to select candidates for the state’s at-large U.S. House seat.
With Rep. Hageman aiming for a position in the Senate, Wyoming’s sole House seat is now available. Numerous Republicans are in the race in this traditionally Republican state. The candidates include Jillian Barlow, previously the Wyoming and Virginia Superintendent of Public Instruction; Chuck Gray, Wyoming Secretary of State; Bo Biteman, President of the State Senate; and military veterans Kevin Christensen and Richard Dodson. Conservative activist Steve Friess, U.S. Sen. Cynthia Lummis’s policy adviser David Giralt, businessman Reid Rasner, and former state Rep. John Romero-Martinez are also running.
Chuck Gray has notably backed unfounded allegations of extensive fraud in the 2020 presidential election. In 2021, he visited Arizona to observe a partisan review of the election outcomes. Gray emerged victorious in the 2022 Republican primary for Secretary of State with endorsement from President Trump. Although Trump supported Gray in the past, he has not declared support in the current race.
On the Democratic front, the contest is between former State Senate Minority Leader Lisa F. Kinney and Elena del Real. Voters will cast their ballots until polls close at 9 p.m. EDT.
