In rural Newburg, a small school is experiencing significant progress due to a program expanding throughout Missouri. Despite having the option to retire after 30 years in education, I, Melissa Wright, have chosen to continue my work as an elementary school principal in Phelps County.
The program’s impact on students and the community has been profound, leading to positive changes and growth. Many schools across the state have begun to implement similar strategies, resulting in noticeable improvements in education outcomes.
As someone deeply involved in the educational field, my commitment to fostering this progress remains strong. The dedication seen in teachers and students alike continues to inspire my ongoing involvement in education.
