All Elite Wrestling’s ‘Dynamite’ started on a somber note as the company and its wrestlers honored Pac, who passed away at the age of 40 over the weekend. Pac, whose real name was Benjamin Satterley, died on Sunday shortly after AEW’s All Out pay-per-view event. Wrestlers gathered on the stage as broadcaster Tony Schiavone delivered heartfelt remarks about Pac.

Schiavone invited fans and viewers at home to reflect on a powerful promo by Jon Moxley after losing an AEW World Championship match to Will Ospreay in the main event. Moxley was joined by his Death Riders stablemates, including Marina Shafir, Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and Pac. Schiavone noted that this was Pac’s final appearance on AEW cameras.
‘I gave everything I had. I took every shot I could. I have no regrets. Will Ospreay is indomitable. It’s all a part of the game. You’re going to lose. I don’t care who you are, you’re going to lose. You gotta know how to lose. You’ll lose in wrestling, you’ll lose in life, you’ll lose people, you’ll lose opportunities. You won’t always get what you deserve or what you’ve earned. Things won’t always go your way. But what will you do? You gotta smile, get up tomorrow, and do it again, giving your best every day because every day is a gift.’
‘Do you know what it’s like to walk out in front of a sold-out crowd? Chicago? New York? Tokyo? Surrounded by friends, teammates, great fans who’ve worked hard all week to see you? Being in the ring is the best job in the world. There is nothing better than that.’
‘Every day is a gift. Will, you were the better man tonight, congratulations. All you’ve earned is more hard work. There are two types of eulogies at funerals. One says, ‘This is what this guy did.’ The other says, ‘This is who this guy was.’ I know which one I want at my funeral. I know what I expect from you, Will. After years, I still don’t think anyone sees what we have. What this place can be. What’s at stake. The future of professional wrestling. What we and kids around the world dream of. We have pro wrestling’s future in our hands. Whatever it becomes, it’ll be what we make it. We have to take the opportunity, the gift, and do something with it.’
Moxley exited with Shafir, Wheeler, and Garcia by his side. Pac, with his long hair and arms crossed, turned and followed them.
Later, Moxley defended the AEW Continental Championship against Orange Cassidy. As he entered the arena, a chair was left out to honor Pac. Moxley defeated Cassidy to retain his title. Afterward, Bryan Danielson’s music played. He appeared visibly emotional due to the night’s events. Danielson and Moxley, who have shared fierce rivalries in AEW, embraced in the ring as a tribute to Pac.
