Brooks Nader Embraces New Role in ‘Baywatch’ Reboot

Brooks Nader is stepping into the iconic world of Baywatch, and surprisingly, her conservative parents are supporting her decision. Known for being against bikinis in her upbringing, Nader’s family fully endorses her new role in the Baywatch reboot featuring the renowned red swimsuit.

At the 2026 FOX Upfront event in New York City, Nader turned heads while promoting the anticipated Baywatch reboot. She shared the amusing reason her family approves of her new role.

Well, they’re pumped about ‘Baywatch’ because it’s a one-piece [swimsuit] — we weren’t allowed to wear two-piece bikinis growing up, Nader said on the red carpet. You’re following the family rules. You’re wearing a one-piece [swimsuit]. So, we’re all good.

Nader stars as Selene, a captain of the Zuma Beach Lifeguards, in FOX’s modern version of the series that originally made Pamela Anderson a global symbol in the 1990s.

Sharing her emotions about wearing the red suit, Nader said, I mean, I cry every time I put the red suit on, because I’m like, ‘This is my work uniform! What?’ She highlighted her sisters’ jealousy when rubbing in her new attire.

The original Baywatch, airing from 1989 to 1999, featured stars like David Hasselhoff, Anderson, Carmen Electra, Nicole Eggert, and Donna D’Errico. Nader admitted she feels the pressure to live up to the legacy, especially in relation to Anderson.

Pamela Anderson was the muse of all muses, and she’s been on my vision board forever. So, we’re going to pay homage to Pam and all the muses of ‘Baywatch’ to the best of our ability, she remarked regarding stepping into big shoes.

FOX plans to introduce the beloved beach drama to a new generation. Joining Nader in the reboot are influencers Noah Beck and Livvy Dunne, aiming to broaden the appeal of the show.

Nader expressed excitement for the project’s release, stating, It is the most exciting thrill of a lifetime. I feel like there’s so much anticipation and everyone has to wait until January. The reboot has already sparked significant interest online.

For Nader, the experience remains surreal, knowing the same red swimsuit once worn by Anderson is now part of her wardrobe.

FOX’s Baywatch is set to premiere in January 2027.
