Comedy writer Toby Morton, known for his satirical work, has now focused his efforts on journalist and political commentator Megyn Kelly. Morton, whose previous work includes writing for South Park and voicing a character named Scott Tenorman, gained attention previously when he registered two Trump Kennedy Center domains before an attempted renaming by the president.
Morton, often referring to himself as the creator of anti-fascist websites, has developed satirical sites targeting well-known individuals and causes. He launched websites like the Trump obituary site (thetrumpobituary.com) and a site about Stephen Miller with unflattering descriptions. Recently, he created a site called “The Cornell 7,” publishing details from a lawsuit involving seven men linked to Jane Doe’s case.
Kelly, currently hosting The Megyn Kelly Show, recently drew attention with her comments on the Cornell lawsuit. In response, Morton announced his latest project targeting Kelly. On Instagram, he acknowledged being blocked by Kelly on social media and humorously dismissed the action, mentioning he had been preoccupied with important matters. He declared the purchase of the domain megynmariekelly.com as a “little act of digital self-care.”
Though the website is not yet active, Morton teased its impending launch with a message “see you soon” accompanying a photo hinting at ongoing domain registration. Newsweek sought comments from both Morton and Kelly, but neither responded before publication. This story continues to develop.
