A tragic incident occurred during a Goose concert at Madison Square Garden on Saturday evening. A 51-year-old concertgoer suffered a deadly fall, police informed Fox News Digital.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) reported that the man fell from the higher levels of the arena bowl. Officers responded to a 911 call regarding an injured individual at the venue shortly before 10 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 51-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive with injuries indicative of falling from an elevated position,the NYPD stated.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue by emergency medical personnel and was later pronounced dead. Reports indicate the man fell from the 300 level section of Madison Square Garden, an area that includes balcony and upper-tier seating well above the lower sections. Local sources noted that he was attending the concert with his wife.
This heartbreaking event took place during the second night of Goose’s two sold-out shows at the venue. Goose, consisting of members Rick Mitarotonda, Trevor Weekz, Peter Anspach, and Cotter Ellis, expressed their sorrow in a statement, offering condolences to the victim’s family and friends.

MSG Entertainment released a statement highlighting their grief over the tragedy and expressed sympathy for the concertgoer’s family and friends. They await further information from the police investigation.
Goose’s upcoming concert is scheduled for Sunday night at SummerStage in Central Park, which is also sold out, according to their tour listings.
