Country singer Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Deford, has filed for divorce from his wife, Bunnie XO, also known as Alisa Deford. The filing took place in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18, after the couple spent nearly a decade married. The specific reason behind the divorce remains unclear at this time.
Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO do not share any children. Despite the divorce filing, Jelly Roll has recently been on his “Little Ass Shed Tour,” which started on May 28 and will continue until July 22.
Earlier this year, Jelly Roll marked their decade-long relationship in an Instagram post. He wrote about their life together, expressing, “2016 was a dream. And we’re still living it. 10 years with my beautiful wife, the one and only Mrs. Bunnie Xo.” His account still features her handle, and images of them together appeared online as recently as six weeks ago.
In February, Jelly Roll shared with People his perspective on overcoming tough times with Bunnie XO, stating, “Love, man. Love will always do it.” This emphasizes the deep connection they shared during their marriage.
