Visitors to Disneyland have a new option for tickets that include additional perks, although there are certain restrictions to be aware of. Costco offers a two-day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper ticket with a Lightning Lane Multi Pass and a $60 dining card for $329.99. This deal is available at select California locations.
Details of the New Ticket Package
Disneyland Resort officials confirmed the availability of this offer to Fox News Digital, stating that it launched last week in specific Costco stores around the state. Historically, Disneyland provides limited-time ticket deals via third-party sellers throughout the year.
The theme park community took notice of the Costco package, as it compares to buying tickets directly from Disneyland. A two-day Park Hopper ticket on Disneyland’s website currently costs $445 for one adult before Lightning Lane is added. This makes the Costco deal approximately $115 cheaper under current pricing.
Changes in Disneyland Ticket Pricing
This package launch coincides with changes in Disneyland’s ticket pricing. Mid-tier single-day tickets saw a $5 increase, although the lowest $104 and highest $224 ticket prices remain unchanged. The cost for Lightning Lane can now reach $38, reflecting an increase, while the Park Hopper add-on for single-day tickets went up by $5 to $10, depending on the date.
The Walt Disney Company’s CFO, Hugh Johnston, discussed keeping ticket prices affordable for younger families during a recent conference. The company aims to offer lower rates during off-peak periods to attract young families and continue fostering a love for Disney.
Usage and Availability of the Costco Ticket
According to information shared online, the Costco ticket can be used between October 2 and December 18. Once used for the first time, the second day must be used within 13 days. Theme park reservations are required for each visit, and the ticket cannot be refunded. It also requires that the same person uses both days, meaning the visits can’t be split between travelers.
This offer is limited to select Costco locations in California, reported Disneyland Resort officials. The ticket bundle has met with varied reactions from fans, sparking discussions on its affordability.
Some social media users noted that it may not be affordable for everyone, while others praised the offer’s value. Fox News Digital has contacted Costco for additional comments on the deal.
