On Tuesday night, a drive-by shooting in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood left three men injured. The incident occurred shortly before 8:45 p.m. on the Southwest Side, according to police reports.
The victims were outside in the 2400 block of South Washtenaw Avenue when a vehicle approached. Someone from inside the car fired shots at them before fleeing the area.
One of the victims, a 27-year-old man, was shot in the head. He was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital and was listed in serious condition.
A second victim, aged 21, also sustained a head wound. He was treated at Stroger Hospital and remains in serious condition.
The third victim, a 22-year-old, suffered a leg wound. He was in good condition at Mount Sinai.
Detectives are currently investigating the shooting.
