Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry’s recent European family trip extended beyond their reunion with King Charles. On July 23, Meghan shared details on Instagram about their “summer holiday” with their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5.
The family appeared to enjoy a stay in Portugal, evidenced by a sign from the Alentejo region in a restaurant photo. They spent time at the beach, in the countryside, and by the pool. Harry was captured playing with Lilibet in the pool, wearing a backwards baseball cap. Another image showed Meghan watching her family approach the ocean waves.
Meghan also shared a picture of her family walking through a garden, taken from behind to maintain the children’s privacy. In a memorable moment, Archie was seen sitting in a plane’s cockpit, guided by pilots. Harry’s experience as an Apache helicopter pilot adds a personal touch to this scene.
The photos appeared two weeks after Lilibet and Archie visited their grandfather, King Charles, and Queen Camilla. This visit was their first in four years, happening on July 10 at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, England. Buckingham Palace confirmed the reunion, which was significant following Harry and Meghan’s move to California in 2020 and their decision to step back from royal duties due to security concerns.
In addition to family activities, Meghan was seen spending time with their rescue beagle, Mamma Mia.
