Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson offered a heartfelt tribute to Benjamin Satterley and his family following the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star’s death on Sunday at the age of 40.

Satterley, who wrestled in WWE under the name Adrian Neville, was also known as Pac in AEW. He joined AEW in 2019 and achieved significant success, winning multiple championships in both AEW and WWE.

Adrian Neville, who competed as Pac in AEW, celebrated his victory during WrestleMania 33 on April 2, 2017, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla.

In a video shared on Instagram, Johnson expressed his condolences to the Satterley family. He emphasized the global nature of professional wrestling, noting that despite its size, the wrestling community remains a tight-knit group united by a shared love and passion for the sport.

Johnson remarked, “As global as professional wrestling is, we’re still a very tight-knit unit. When we lose one of our own, it hurts. And when they’re young and so insanely talented, it really f—ing hurts, especially when that life is robbed.”

Johnson also addressed AEW owner Tony Khan, wrestler QT Marshall, and the AEW team, expressing his sorrow for their loss. He sent love and strength to the Satterley family during their difficult time.

Johnson is a board member of TKO, the parent company that owns WWE. WWE honored Satterley with a tribute graphic before “Monday Night Raw.” AEW planned a tribute special on “Dynamite” to honor Satterley.

Satterley was found dead in Illinois on Sunday, shortly after performing at All Out.
