Federal Judge Dismisses Trump’s $10 Billion Defamation Suit Again

For the second time, a federal judge has dismissed the defamation lawsuit filed by President Donald Trump seeking $10 billion in damages. This decision came with prejudice, meaning the case cannot be brought to court again.

On Saturday, the judge ruled against Trump’s lawsuit directed at the publisher of the Wall Street Journal. The suit was based on the newspaper’s 2025 reports concerning a controversial birthday gift sent decades ago to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

This case dismissal marks a repeat occurrence, underscoring the challenge in pursuing legal actions of this nature against media outlets. Rupert Murdoch, a prominent media executive, was present in the Oval Office with President Trump on February 3, 2025, as depicted in the photograph by Craig Hudson.
