The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C., initially charged Hearn with felony destruction of government property. The charge suggested that Hearn’s actions led to over $1,000 in damage to the pool’s newly installed sealant. This project was a major focus during President Trump’s tenure. Hearn has consistently denied any wrongdoing related to these allegations.
