A flight attendant on a United Airlines flight took swift action when a tired mother fell asleep, and her baby began to slide off her lap. She caught the child in time and offered to hold the baby so the mother could rest.
Passenger John Frehse shared the heartwarming incident on Instagram, commending flight attendant Monique Harris for her prompt response on United flight 3486 from Newark, New Jersey, to Grand Rapids, Michigan. Frehse noted that United should be proud, as Harris acted immediately when the baby was about to fall.
Frehse also uploaded a photo showing Harris holding the baby on the plane. He remarked that such positive actions shine even during turbulent times. He tagged United CEO Scott Kirby in the post, highlighting his extensive travel experience with the airline and praising Harris as an exceptional employee.
Harris expressed her gratitude in the comments, moved by the recognition. She said she never expected such an everyday gesture to become a memorable moment. She thanked Frehse and others for their kind words.
