Her representative confirmed the news to CBS. “It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden,” stated Skip Panettiere, Hayden’s father, urging for privacy during this difficult period.
The circumstances surrounding her death remain undisclosed. Panettiere’s career spanned over three decades. She appeared in both films and TV series, notably “Scream” and “Nashville.”
In recent months, she publicly addressed the challenges of fame from a young age. Her memoir, “This Is Me: A Reckoning,” released in May, detailed her experiences with addiction, abuse, and recovery. In an interview with Gayle King, Panettiere shared her childhood experiences in the entertainment industry, emphasizing the pressure from her mother, who guided her career.
In October 2015, she sought treatment for postpartum depression following the birth of her daughter in December 2014. She later ceded full custody of her daughter Kaya to her former fiancé Wladimir Klitschko in 2018.
