Joe Rogan Critiques Trump’s Handling of Epstein Files and Iran Conflict

Podcaster Joe Rogan criticized President Trump before a UFC event at the White House. Rogan expressed disappointment in Trump’s management of the Jeffrey Epstein files and the ongoing conflict in Iran. Despite previously endorsing Trump for the 2024 election, Rogan accused him of not delivering on promises related to the documents surrounding the late convicted sex offender.

During a Friday episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan shared frustration with outdoorsman Cameron Hanes, stating, “We’re all pissed. We all thought that, you know, all that stuff was going to be released right after the election. We’re gonna drain the swamp and find all the pedophiles.” Hanes, an Oregon native, countered by noting that Trump had achieved some progress in “draining the swamp” during his first term, offering hope for Trump’s potential return to the White House.

Rogan has also criticized the Trump administration’s approach to the Iran conflict. He stated, “Well, it would have been a whole lot different for — first of all, if we didn’t bomb Iran. I feel like we bombed them the first time, we were good. The second time was like, even the first time I was like, what are we doing?”

United States and Iran officials are working on a tentative agreement to end the conflict. This agreement involves lifting the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and U.S. blockade of Iranian ports. Pakistani officials report that a 60-day negotiation will follow, centered around Iran’s nuclear program and potential sanctions relief, with the deal expected to be sealed on Friday.

Rogan, set to commentate the UFC event at the White House on Trump’s 80th birthday, emphasized that most U.S. citizens oppose the conflict. In a passionate dialogue, Rogan remarked, “Most people in the country don’t want it. Now look, I’m no foreign policy expert. I don’t know what’s going on over there, but I do know that most of the people I know who support Israel are ecstatic. But those who prioritize America first, and hoped for no new wars, are upset.”

Recently, Rogan noted that the war in Iran renders the U.S. “vulnerable” and ill-prepared for unforeseen challenges. Although expressing dislike for the war, Rogan commented positively on the UFC event happening at the White House.

Comedian Harland Williams queried, “You don’t like the idea that Iran can’t have nuclear weapons?” Rogan replied, expressing concern over similar events to the Afghanistan conflict, where U.S. forces became embroiled in the longest military battle following the September 11, 2001, attacks.

An examination by the Center for Strategic and International Studies found that the Iran conflict strained U.S. weapon stockpiles, predicting years before these resources can be replenished, considering budget approvals, production timelines, and allocations to allies. Rogan also warned about the potential for a military draft after a call from a technology firm advocating for universal national service.
