Kansas is holding primary elections as voters determine the Democratic and Republican candidates for the upcoming general election in November.
As of Tuesday, the focus is on selecting nominees for the state’s congressional races. There are currently four incumbent House members up for reelection. They include Democratic Representative Sharice Davids and Republican Representatives Tracey Mann, Derek Schmidt, and Ron Estes.
Derek Schmidt, former Kansas Attorney General, is notably among those seeking to maintain their position in the House of Representatives. His candidacy, along with others, shapes the political landscape as Kansans head to the polls.
